Our vision as the
Owners of Highover is to:

Eradicate
poaching.

Nurture the
endangered species i.e. the blue swallow, blue duiker, oribi,
African rock python and samango monkey.

Increase
the number of warthog, wildebeest, zebra, blesbok, impala, kudu, nyala,
bushbuck, eland, springbok, reedbuck and mountain reedbuck.
-
Introduce
new species in collaboration with KZN Wildlife e.g. waterbuck.
We are
thrilled that our anti-poaching efforts are being rewarded
with more frequent sightings of relaxed animals. The reserve now
boasts large herds of blesbok, reedbuck, impala, wildebeest,
springbok and a growing number of warthog, zebra, nyala, bushbuck and
impala.
We are now experiencing more frequent sightings of genet and
aardwolf. Join
one of our game / nature drives which also include a snack or sundowners
- trips can be tailor made to suit your group.
